📂 New Sidekick Content Collection – PR
Our latest Collection on the Brighteye Sidekick resource hub is now live – covering the world of 📣 PR and media relations. In a series of posts, we explore what PR and media relations work looks like in practice, including realistic (but ambitious) expectations about 🗞️ outcomes.
It covers:
🧡 Defining and Measuring Customer Value
In the latest guest blog post from our excellent Customer Success Mentor Andrea Spillmann-Gajek, she breaks down 🔍 how to define and measure customer value.
It features gold dust like this:
There’s no single magic solution, but hopefully you’ll come away with at least a few new ways of thinking about value and ideas to get you closer to measuring value. The key is to start where you are, measure what you can, and get creative, Andrea writes.

The session headlines are set:

Funding and Investment – from a PR perspective
The speakers are being confirmed and details are in the making – register now to not miss any updates on the 7-8 October events!
If there are speakers you’d like to hear from, please do get in touch – we want to make this as helpful as possible for the community.
New this year, we are introducing Partnerships. We’ve invited some big industry stakeholders to join us and help the Festival have an even greater impact and reach than in previous years. Today, we are proud to share that Hubspot is on board, and we have a few more lined up for announcements in the weeks to come.
☀ We’ll be in the Nordics in August and September
A little bit quiet on the events front gives us time to prepare for what’s coming. There are two to flag! We will be heading to the Nordics for TechBBQ, where Izzy and Hege will be on the ground in Copenhagen. In addition to attending, we’ll host/co-host a couple of smaller community side events on 26-28 August - more info coming shortly.
In September, our Head of Platform and Research Rhys will moderate the investment panel at the Nordic Edtech Summit in Malmö on 10 September, looking at “how Edtech businesses can best raise funding and position themselves most powerfully to investors.”
There are still tickets if you want to be part of the event, hosted by Jonathan Viner of the Nordic Edtech News.
📸 Final London Edtech Week Event recap
Back in June, we concluded our London EdTech Week activities by co-hosting an afternoon of panels at the Cooley LLP office, partnering with Cooley, Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., and EDT&Partners. We were looking at “How to manage growth in a changing Global market?” through four panels, an inspiring Fireside chat with Kahoot!-CEO Eilert Giertsen Hanoa, moderated by Matthew Johnson, and, of course, a networking reception.
